Abstract

In this article, we present a bibliographical review called "state of the matter" based on the survey of research on Violence against Women, through a survey in the Catalog of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES between the months of May 2021 to May 2022, using a temporal filter of works from the year 2000. The following search terms were used: Violence against women, Actions to Combat violence against women; Public Policies and/or Social Health Policies, Women's House. From the content analysis and the quantitative approach applied to the instruments of collection and documentary research, different perspectives are demonstrated for the context of violence against women, which is described on its aspects of physical, psychological, moral, patrimonial and sexual violence. The results showed the magnitude of the need to assess the possibilities of controlling and assisting the multiple health problems of this woman, given the presence of different types of violence to which she may be exposed.
